Mint

Cards classified as 'Mint' are fresh from a pack or equivalent. They will contain little to no imperfections. Cards with corners that are not cut perfectly or are printed off centre can still be considered mint as this is how they are delivered from pack or promo boxes. If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 9 or 10.

Near Mint

Cards classified as 'Near Mint' can at times mean that cards could have very light edge whiting and/or hairline surface scratches (which are not generally visible without bright lighting). Cards with corners that are not cut perfectly or are printed off centre can still be considered near mint as this is how they are delivered from pack or promo boxes. If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 7 to 9.

Lightly Played

Cards classified as 'Lightly Played' have greater levels of edge whiting and/or more hairline scratching which may be slightly visible in regular light. Edges may show signs of use but only to a light degree.  If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 5 to 8.

Moderately Played

Cards classified as 'Moderately Played' have even greater levels of edge whiting and may have scratching that is visible in regular light. Edges may show signs of use. If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 3 to 6.

Heavily Played

Cards classified as 'Heavily Played' show heavy signs of use. It is unlikely Faraway Island Collectibles would actually have cards in this condition however you should expect a card in poor condition. If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 2 to 4.

Damaged

Cards marked as 'Damaged' have some form of damage whether deep scratches, rips or tears or may be folded. They could also range from still being in near mint condition (assuming the damage wasn't there) to heavily played.  If graded we would usually expect them to receive a 1.

All grading assumptions are our opinion only and do not guarantee you would receive the grades mentioned as we ourselves are not professional graders.
